History
Tamagotchi was invented by Aki Maita.
She asked and watched people for months what they like. They wanted little, cute pets to care about.
So she developed the tamagotchi in association with Bandai. The first tamagotchi arrived on 05/12/97 in germany.
The price was 15 (~17$). There were also many 'copies' which were sold in the end of tam time for 50 cent.
